When planning this trip, I focused on what actually makes travel enjoyable: avoiding half the day in transit, staying somewhere you can walk out the door and explore, and choosing experiences that feel worth your time.

That’s why I chose centrally located hotels, kept most activities to half days, and designed each travel day to include something memorable without feeling rushed or chaotic. You’ll have structure and connection, but also room to wander, reset, and take it all in.
